This beautiful shades of dark and light and black heavy hemp is beautifully woven, smooth, tight and nice weight piece. . It is a nice bar pattern. It measures 1" inch wide by 18 inches in woven length, not including the fringes. It is woven from very high quality cotton. The strap is strong. It was hand woven on an inkle loom. Made in the USA. If you prefer to use it without the fringes for your possibles bag or other things, you just need to sew over the end several times before cutting off the fringes to prevent it from fraying. It is back woven several times to prevent fraying but if you want to sew leather tabs or laces on, it will wear better of you stitch back and forth over the ends for security.
