Description: 14k Yellow Gold Vintage Garnet Dangle Screw Post Earrings UNUSUAL!. These belonged to my mother and I am in my late 60's. As my daughter is not interested in them and I am downsizing these need a new appreciative home. I am NOT a jeweler but I feel the red stones are rubies. The 4 prong settings are secure. The posts are threaded and the screw on backs are marked. Note that each post has it's own specific back... weird but true. I do not know what metal the hoops are made from. They are not marked and are light. I have never seen another pair like these. The hoops are approx .75" across and hang 1.25". Very nice and classy! One post is slightly bent but solid.
