Obverse: Garlanded, draped, and armored bust right, wearing Collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece, perimeter legend; Reverse: Charles, holding scepter and orb, seated facing on throne; seated to left and right, Saints Isidore and Leander, each holding crozier; perimeter legend above, NO8DO (motto of Seville: "Seville has not left me") in exergue, date below. The city of Seville sent gold examples of this medal to the royal family and distributed silver examples among court notables. A fairly SCARCE and interesting issue, this example represents the only such occurrence in the PCGS census, and offers a pleasing portrait and well executed detailing overall.
