Predominantly smooth, glossy golden-brown surfaces with just a little bit of darker scale in the fields. Fairly early die state that offers well balanced detail not seen on many examples of the type. Full date and legends if a bit soft in places. Much fine detail remains on the obverse bust and even some vine detail on the reverse shield.
