Pictorial hardcover, 5 X 7.5 X 1 in., 405 pages, with many black and white illustrations. Covers every country (at the time), with information about its geographical qualities, plus chapters on "Mathematical Geography," including physical geography and basic astronomy. Good minus condition. Light scuffs/rubs on the exterior, some stains on the boards. Divot on the front board, small split in the front spine edge. Endpapers have stains and wrinkles and there are a couple of owner's signatures (from a Miss Emma Gilman) in front. Inside, there are many small corner bends; a clean, 4 in. tear on p. 55/56; and occasional, much smaller tears and chips. Otherwise unmarked, securely bound.
