Oscar Fingal O'Fflahertie Wills Wilde[a] (October 1854 – November 1900) was an Irish poet and playwright. After writing in different forms throughout the 1880s, he became one of the most popular playwrights in London in the early 1890s. He is best remembered for his epigrams and plays and his novel The Picture of Dorian Gray. Condition Info: GOOD. Heavily sun/darkened spine. Sunned extremities. Heavily rubbed and bumped corners. Front joint splitting, front hinge reinforced with book binding tape. Toned edges and sun-darkened top-edge. Sticker stain on front pastedown and former owner signature on FFEP. Text block itself is clean and bright. Last dozen leaves with a water dampening stain along top margin.
