Description: UP FOR AUCTION is a very beautiful softcover souvenir album or guide book to the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco, California. The type on the COVER to this lovely collectible is printed with EMBOSSED GOLD ink TYPE along with an architectural sepia and white ink drawing giving it the look of a very high quality designer. The size of the album is about 8 1/4" x 10 1/8" by 1/8" thick or so. There are 48 pages filled with lots of great photos of the buildings, maps and artistry of the fair. Included are a bird's eye view, Liberal Arts Palace, Tower of Jewels, Palace of Education, Court of Great Palace of Machinery, Exposition Hotel, Four Seasons, Fountain of Ceres, Festivities of the Horticultural Palace, Night Scenes, The Million Dollar Auditorium, various US state buildings, the Press Building, The Nations of the East & The Nations of the West Statuary Groups, The Avenue of Progress, and the now classic sculpture "The End of the Trail" at the entrance to the Court of Flowers on the last page.
