Description: 1920s Douglas Fairbanks Ephemera Promo Robin Hood Gaucho Don Q Iron Mask. Includes three campaign books, plus two Robin Hood books (one campaign), six movie stills, and one color picture that appears to possibly be a trimmed lobby card (if not a lobby card, whatever it is, it’s trimmed). Also a Robin Hood related sheet music. Each campaign book and the music sheet is attached to a scrapbook page along left side by tape. It looks to me that these could easily be removed but obviously should be done carefully, by a professional, or not at all. They have survived beautifully mounted on scrapbook pages for decades. These are the remnants of a once large Douglas Fairbanks collection. Selling these for a friend (who disposed of his high quality Fairbanks collection long ago but just found these few vintage items that were stored elsewhere). Total 13 items (the advertising flyer referenced below is not counted as a separate item; including this counted separately there would be 14). As seen in photo, it appears that a portion of one page of the Gaucho book has been cut away. Also, in the Don Q Son of Zorro book, a fold over advertising flyer is included (held in place by a paper clip). I don’t know the value of these items but they are obviously high quality and rare and desirable. I am hoping these will be seen by Douglas Fairbanks collectors via this listing! It’s a group that I believe some collector out there would greatly appreciate.
