Description: This is a Detroit Area Council Patch from the 50's. It has never been sewn on anything but has a couple of straight pin holes on the right side. Right edge also has a small curl to it. The nearest we can recollect; he started with the Detroit Boy Scout organization sometime in the late 40's and worked his way up to becoming an Eagle Scout in 1953. After his military service he then became a (asst?)Scoutmaster in the early 1970's. All items offered should reflect this time period outside a few patches he may have collected here and there before or afterwards.
