Description: Frolic, 1950s, 1956, 1957, Blue Ridge Southern Potteries 9" Serving Bowl Vintage 1950s Round Hand Painted This beauty is marked as Southern Potteries (no Blue Ridge), but have confirmed with Jeff at Southern Potteries that this is the real thing. This pattern, #5006 is also known as Frolic (in some places have seen as Nola and Frolic). Jeff suggested that it was produced in 1956, shortly before the company's closing in early 1957. A real gem. Approx size 9" across, 2.5" high. Unboxed weight 1 lb Great used condition, no chips or cracks. Colors are vibrant. Minor utensil marks. manufacturing defects - glaze pits, color smudge on outside.
