Description: 1963 Press Photo Squatty Lyons, Glen Boswell with a Windmaker Fan - Houston This is an original press photo. Commissioner E.A. (Squatty) Lyons, left, accepted two 42-inch fans Wednesday to be used in cooling the county jail. Glen Boswell, 1618 Johanna, shown with Lyons, arranged for the fans to be donated by Phil Rich, owner of Windmaker Fan Co., 2900 Caroline, and hopes enough money is donated for the 10 more jail officials say are needed. Rich has offered to sell the county the additional fans for $43 each. They retail for about $90. Boswell said he arranged the donation to help "the boys" in jail. Photo measures 8 x 10.25inches. Photo is dated 08-07-1963. Part Number: hcb23177 Please look at the images below carefully to determine the condition of this vintage photograph, as it may not be in perfect condition.
