The Orioles' roster included Brooks and Frank Robinson, Boog Powell, Paul Blair, Davey Johnson, Mark Belanger etc. plus three 20-game winners in Mike Cuellar who pitched that day, Jim Palmer and Dave McNally. The Twins' lineup included Harmon Killebrew, Tony Oliva, Bob Allison, etc. The Orioles won this game 5-1 with a homerun by Powell. Killebrew homered for the Twins. Mike Cuellar was the complete game winning pitcher. These 2 teams would meet later in the season in the ALCS where the Orioles were victorious moving on to the World Series where they became World Champions defeating the Cincinnati Reds. Thank you.
