It was produced in 2016 by Katerpillar and Distributed by DKE Toys. LIMITED ONLY 30 PRODUCED. It is signed and autographed EDITION by VERVA PIEKKO. It is in Excellent condition complete with retail packaging a luminum metal carded package. This is a Star Wars "Parody" action figure that was custom created by Katerpillar by artist Virva Peikko that paid tribute to the iconic and controversial 1977 Topps Star Wars Series 4 (Green) Trading Card #207, featuring C-3PO and the "error" card image come to life now as an action figure! Only 30 of these were produced, debuting at the New York Comic Con 2016 last year and now "sold out" from the distributor DKE Toys. With only 30 produced, these are very hard to find in the secondary collector's market, so most of them are in private collections, and once in a long while you might see one up for auction where the FMV (fair market value) will be dictated by the laws of supply and demand. Again, with only 30 of these produced, and thousands of fans of Star Wars as well as action figure collectors, you can do the math and figure out if you're interested in this, it could be a rare once in a lifetime opportunity to secure one of these. However, because these were all individually hand made as a custom designer toy by the artist, and not mass produced nor manufactured in quantities, the packaging itself as you can see looks professional and mimics the old school carded Star Wars action figures, but is done with a Metal Aluminium backing card ant the plastic bubble cover that holds the action figure is glued professionally and then has a piece of tape for added security. Back in 1977 Topps Trading cards actually released a trading card with this golden phallus to unsuspecting children. How it got there is a source of some speculation. The Katerpillar is the collaborative works of artists KiLL! & Virva Peikko.
