JOE COBRA DREADNOK LEADER ZARTAN Item is in very good condition, has good joints, O-ring, no screw rust on leg screws, color is still vibrant, screws are good. He has had his original O-RING replaced, his sides have been opened - and the torso still fits together snug. His knee joints rotate fluidly - HANDLE AND BEND WITH CARE. Appearance: red-brown cowl; black face paint around eyes; bare torso; black shoulder armor, gloves, belt, and boots; red-brown pants. His "color-change" ability to turn into his purplish/blue color WORKS AMAZING - he turns purple, his eyes still glow, check out the pics of his front and back in the sunlight, amazing! Accessories: Custom aftermarket leg pads - they fit pretty well, original style black Funskool armor chest piece, original black hinged backpack for mask - fits well and latch is still good; RARE soft Plastic version soft bearded mask disguise from a later version, custom aftermarket black pistol with trigger guard and angled handle; large silver sword, black claw weapon toyline, a brown axe staff of unknown origin, a vintage brown fabric ghillie suit from a different figure that makes his disguise look great, the figure stand pictured is included. The Swamp Skier Chameleon is complete, the handlebar has 2/2 tabs and fits snug into the housing, both stickers are on the side of the main body. The main Junk box has both pegs intact and holds the skis fine. The Tow Rope is complete, the loop handle is is mostly intact with one tab missing. The vintage dual-sided Milton Bradley game card is in very good condition and comes with the stand that doubles as a figure stand, the 1991 IMPEL card #175 is near mint and all are great for display. How unfortunate that all records of this persons name and origin have mysteriously disappeared, along with anyone said to have been in direct contact with this individual at the time. Fast-forward some years, when a mercenary going by the name Zartan arrived in the states. Making due on hit contracts and high profile robberies of precious art and jewels, evading law enforcement at every turn. Soon to be placed on the FBI’s most wanted list, the name Zartan place beneath a blank picture where only a question mark resided. Is it any mystery why the man that would become “Cobra Commander” would seek out such an individual? The job was an assassination but the catch was the location and the target. Zartan was hired to infiltrate the household of the Arashikage Ninja Clan and assassinate the man known as Snake eyes. Zartan infiltrated the ninja clan from within, becoming an apprentice to the Sword Master Onihashi, which gave him access to the household and knowledge of its internal workings. Although the hit itself proved to be a failure and a costly one at that, having accidentally killed the clans Grand Master, Cobra Commander still saw much potential in Zartan and choose to keep his talents in mind for the future of Cobra. After returning from the Orient Zartan began to grow obsessed with disguising himself and his whereabouts from the Ninja Clan that he was sure would try and hunt him down. Even though measures were taken to place the blame on the Masters young nephew Storm Shadow, Zartan’s paranoia grew and he was sure that his mistake would come back to haunt him. It was at this time that he began to research holographic technology and to undergo multiple gene splicing and implant surgeries that would allow him to alter his skin tones and appearance at will. Through years of trail and error Zartan revolutionized the field of holographic manipulation. The hit man and thief could now add, Master of disguise to his resume, with the added abilities to change his appearance, manipulate his voice and fluently speak 20 different languages, Zartan had become one of the most dangerous men alive. With time Zartan found himself allied with an Australian biker gang, known as the Dreadnoks, that sought to gain notoriety in the states through whatever means possible. It wasn’t long before Zartan resided over them as their leader and began a spree of robbery and mayhem that dwarfed his past illegal activities. As the Cobra Organization formed, it was the Commanders decision to use Zartan and the Dreadnoks to accomplish deeds that he felt were to publicly visible to be associated with Cobra in its infancy. With time Zartan’s rate of success allowed him move forward in Cobra and claim a seat in its high command. This curiously green water vehicle has these vehicular statistics and capabilities: Blending: thanks to the veritable magic of holo-science, but does not function when the vehicle is actually moving (since it does so rather fast...!). Pre-Fab Construction: another handy feature that was worked into the design of the Chameleon is its ability to be quickly broken down into its component units, for fast storage, transport, or disguise purposes; it can quite easily be mistaken for a pile of scrap metal in its disassembled state. This curiously green water vehicle has these vehicular statistics and capabilities: Ink Jets: when Zartan (or anybody else driving this thing) wants to avoid persistent pursuit, they can simply activate the twin rear-facing, wide dispersal ink jets on the back of the Chameleon. These create a black cloud that obscures vision - and stings the eyes like nobody's business. Water Cannon: working with what was available, Zartan built a front-facing, high capacity water jet into the Chameleon, in order to waylay any opponents in front of him.
