This is a very nice selection of 4 antique BIRTHDAY GREETINGS postcards that have good detail and capture the CLASSIC look that was popular in the early 1900s era. The postcards show FLOWERS, WICKER BASKET, OPEN BOOKS, FEATHER PENS, etc. They have GOLD TRIM in the message area, in the feather pens, and in the pages of the books, which adds to their beauty. Also, they are AIR BRUSHED with colors. The postcards have strong TEXTURED fronts that gives them a raised embossed feel. These come from the same German publisher, TIC. These were "Printed in Germany" during the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915 era). These are antique postcards that are nicely designed. They are colorful and attractive, and are a pleasure to look at. These are HEAVY EMBOSSED postcards with an extra sheet on the back. Heavy embossed postcards are UNIQUE. They were only made during a short time period during the early 1900s, and most were published in Germany. These are collector items because of their age and uniqueness, having good value, and their appeal to Birthday postcard collectors. The postcards are UNPOSTED (1) and POSTED (3). These would have been published in the 1908 era. They have DIVIDED backs. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and are good for a collector. They will keep their value.
