Nearly 20 years of research has gone into these products which can theoretically achieve 23% alcohol by fermentation, something previously considered impossible. After 24 hours you should have ~14% alcohol. Continue fermentation for increased alcohol content. Fermentation is violent - do not use an airlock for the initial period of fermentation as the extreme CO2 pressure will just blow it off. Follow directions and pay close attention to temperatures for best results. USA directions: Prepare 5.5 gallons (21L) of hot water in a 7.9 gallon (30L) fermenter. Add 13 lbs. (6kg) of sugar and stir. Ensure sugar is fully dissolved before proceeding. When the sugar solution is 95ºF (35°C) or below add the 24 Hour Turbo Yeast sachet contents and stir well. Secure lid firmly onto fermenter, attach airlock and leave to ferment at a temperature between 68-86ºF (20-30°C) for 24 hours. Please note: Fermentation times may vary depending on conditions and temperature control. Recipe may be reduced to 5 gallons and fermented in a 6.5 Gal fermenter. Cover with a clean cloth secured by a Cluett string (loop of string with a section of rubber bands).
