Description: Offered is this antique pitcher, made by George Thomas Mountford in Stoke, Staffordshire, England. The white and blue pitcher with gold trim features a large design of pink, purple and yellow flowers on a brown background pattern. It is white on the inside. The company was in business during the 1880s and 1890s and the piece has the British registration number 29761, from 1885 (see last photo). The pattern name is also on the bottom but I am not sure what it says (see same photo). This is a rare find; at the time of original listing I could find only two other GT Mountford pieces for sale on eBay in the US. The pitcher is approx. 7" high and about 5 3/4" across from handle to spout. It is in very good to excellent condition. I see no chips, cracks or scratches. There is some discoloration on the inside and probably some light marks from handling. Please take a moment to look at some of the other items in my eBay store!
