Description: Antique c1905 Comet Playing Cards in Travel Poker Set, 97 chips 52 cards no J Case very good, clasp works, unglued divider. Cards very good +, a few small creases, no box or joker What a great find! These cards were introduced around 1905, and the design of the case dates it to early 1900s. Case has a working clasp. One of the interior chip dividers is unglued and loose (see pic). There are 52 red chips and 45 white chips. Chips show some wear and are 1 1/4" in diameter. The Comet cards are in very good condition with a few small creases. This is one of my favorite back designs of all time. Great dragon motif from Andrew Dougherty.
