Description: Antique Cattle Hook This was salvaged from a falling barn on an old cattle farm (now a sod farm with Native American Burial Grounds near Washingtons Crossing PA that dates to 1711 and owned by the Smith family, still is. This once lead and cast iron hook hung cattle to bleed out before cutting down. Now rusted and antiquated, this piece of history will be certain to add conversation in your home, wherever it is you may choose to mount it. It does have two rivets that allow the hook to move up and down but they are rusted together. I am sure with some WD you can get it working properly. I am just afraid it will lose some of its primitive charm.
