Description: Very special and very old European white and gold reticulated porcelain compote basket. This round compote was molded in two separate pieces and held together with an iron bar. In overall great condition considering it’s age. One tiny area that has a hairline fracture on the bottom and one on the outside. Also small chip on the outside at the top. Very difficult to see. I tried to point it out in the photos. Gold is beautiful and not worn. The approximate measurements are: 9.5"' D X 10" H
