Description: Antique Japanese Kutani Cabinet Plate by Yamashita Hotei Figure - Good Luck Meticulously decorated with the central figure of Hotei (a god of good luck), surrounded by the most exquisite border featuring a pair of serpentined dragons over a gold and white cloud motif. Signed on the back with the artists hallmark. Late Meiji or Taisho period. 8 1/2" diameter x 7/8" high. 0.7 pounds. Excellent condition with some very minor manufacturing flaws typical of the period.
