Description: Beautiful print of Jesus in the Garden of Mount Olive praying. This antique print came from a very old house and the owner stated that the wall hangings that I purchased were all from the late 20s to mid 30s. It was from an estate in Northeast Georgia from the middle of town. I love the muted tones in this piece and how it portrays the evening when Jesus was praying yet with enough colors to show the story of where He is and what he is doing. I can imagine this piece brought much attention in the home from visitors. The frame has a glass overlay and a wooden frame with gold painted finished. There was a smudge of gold paint on the glass that can be removed. There is also a very small tear at the bottom right beside the frame on the print. This piece will need to have a hanger added. It was hanging on the wall with string on a nail and I removed the string since it was very dirty. I would give a nice thorough cleaning again as the house was not lived in and very dusty. What a very nice and unique piece of history that tells such a beautiful story. Shipped with absolute excellent care!
