Description: This is a bread board from England. This is in unused condition with one small crack in the outside rim as shown. This can be rubbed down with a wood paste for cutting boards, I have a can if you want this to be a darker shinier brown, that's the difference. It is much more practiced in England than it is here in the US. This is one of several that I have because I was in a business where we imported items from England for resale. This bread board is plain with no writing, just a few slashes around the rim and it is appealing in its plainness. This also has an exceptionally deep trough ring to catch the crumbs from cutting the bread, this is a perfect board for baguettes. These boards are usually made of Maple or Poplar because it is closely grained and easy to clean, and long wearing. This board is heavy in my opinion it's sturdy, weighing 1.7 pounds. Nice piece.
