It is made of a celluloid veneer that is glued onto the wood. Perfect porcelain 5" dial that has fancy Arabic numerals in black. The dial has Seth Thomas, Slow/Fast adjuster, Chimes on the hour and 1/2 hour. with Seth Thomas spade hands. Dimensions are Height 10.25", Width 15.25", Depth 7", and Weight 7 lbs.Circa 1900
