Written by Edward Coxe, a British historian, editor, and collector of Dutch and Italian drawings and paintings. CONDITION Bound in full black calf. Externally, sound with rubbing and light bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spine with marks to the boards. Light loss to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot or handling mark. Age toning to the endpapers. Tipped in Select List of School Books to the front of the text. Contemporary ink and pencil inscriptions and drawings to the endpapers and pastedowns.
