Description: My garage sale continues. I'm an old fly fisherman. I collected a lot of gear over the years. The offering is for a Cabela's Stowaway 5 piece travel fly rod & Three Forks reel outfit. It seemed like a good idea at the time. I used it once to teach the Fly Fishing Merit Badge to a couple of Boy Scouts. The rod is Cabela's Stowaway 4 wt 5 piece travel fly rod. It breaks down small enough to fit into carry-on luggage or ride in the back of your truck. The reel is Cabela's Three Forks 4/5/6 reel loaded with Cabela's fly line & backing. I have a wine rack full of fly rods. Now that I approach my 78th Birthday, I am selling the stuff I seldom or never used to pay for other adventures. I just don't fly fish as much as I like to or used to. It's a nice kit. If you want something you can travel with "just in case", for a side trip to a stream on a business trip, or something small enough to always be in the back of your truck this is it. This rod deserves better than just holding a spot in my garage.
