Our regular price for this poster is $189 Here we are offering a rarely seen silk-screened Cuban political poster -- this one released in Havana in 2005 with a portrait of the Argentina-born Cuban revolutionary hero Ernesto "CHE" Guevara (1928-1967) This scarce 12 by 17 inch handmade poster was distributed in 2005 by the Havana-based Organization of Solidarity of the People of Asia, Africa & Latin America (OSPAAAL) as part of a portfolio of 10 silkscreens. Over six decades, OSPAAAL promoted Cuba's solidarity with countries and revolutionary movements in the Third World. OSPAAAL closed its doors in Havana in June 2019, making many of its famed posters more difficult to find. This CHE poster in this listing is a mini silk-screened 2005 version of an offset poster designed by Rafael Enríquez Vega in 1982. Overall condition of the poster is good with minor imperfections (common on many Cuban posters).
