Description: Timeless Stitches TSB-105 "ZOUAVE JACKET". This is a new, unused pattern in the original factory fold. The pattern is available in your choice of two multiple sized patterns: Petite, Small, Medium and Large or Queen-XL, XXL and XXXL. Misses: Petite (Bust 30" Waist 28"), Small (Bust 34" Waist 32") Medium (Bust 38", Waist 35") Large (Bust 42" Waist 40" Queen: XL (Bust 48" Waist 46", XXL Bust 52" Waist 50", XXXL (Bust 56" Waist 54"). From the pattern: "One of the most common jackets worn during the Era, the Zouave Jacket is a great addition to any wardrobe. Worn originally to show Patriotism, the Zouave Jacket, fast became the Jacket of choice. The first Jackets were black with red trim, but the style soon progressed to many color and fabric combinations, but the trim color was mainly black. Ensembles including Zouave jackets can be worn for outdoor wear including riding habits. This pattern is for two styles of Zouave Jacket: the open jacket, which does not join at the neckline and the closed jacket which closes at the neck. The pattern has two styles of jacket back: the straight back, which was worn early in the 1860's and the pointed back which appeared a little later. The pattern also includes three sleeve options: a straight sleeve, a sleeve with a cuff and a pointed sleeve. All of the pattern options are interchangeable." The pattern calls for: 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 yards of 45" fabric, (depending on size), 1 1/2 -2 1/2 yards lining. Fine cord for your self-fabric piping or store purchased piping, closure for closed jacket neckline. Trims of your choice.
