Description: A Columbia BD 'Majestic' Phonograph. All original and complete with the exception of a horn. This was Columbia's top of the line machine introduced in 1905 with a three spring motor. No broken springs. It winds up and plays okay. It has the early paper label analyzing reproducer. A heavy machine weighing in at about 45 pounds. Condition is excellent and the case bracket and tone arm will polish up nicely. There is a small chip on the bottom of the right rear of the case. Governor does need adjustment so lid can be lifted with the speed control in place. There is surface rust on the spring barrels, but there is no water damage top the case or case bottom; must be from condensation as this has been in storage since the late 1979's.
