Description: Listing is for custom burnt pine European skull mount wall pedestals with the backer board shaped as the state of your choosing. Its a great way to commemorate a hunting trip or show pride in your home state. The plaque is sized for whitetail deer or any other similar sized skull. I have inventoried the top selling states from my other pedestals and plaques, but if your state isn't listed and you choose the option "Other Custom Choice", I will message you with the timeframe in which I will get your state cut out and shipped to you after you message me the state you want. These will be made as quickly as possible, but could still take a few days to get it shipped to you. The pedestal will include an attached keyhole hanger, the 4 screws required to assemble your predrilled pieces, and 1 coarse decking screw to attach the skull. My local taxidermists have found this is the simplest and most secure way to attach your trophy. All you will need to finish your mount is a 1/8" drill bit to place a hole in your skull as shown in the last picture. The pedestal is constructed from panelized white pine to reduce the risk of warping/cupping and has 3 coats of gloss polyurethane on the front and sides. The plaque the skull attaches to measures approximately 8"x14 1/2". Plaques and the state shaped wall backer piece are all custom cut, edges routered, and polyurethaned by skilled craftsman NOT massed produced by a CNC machine.
