Description: THE ITEM: "LOWER VERYGOOD" (moderate lower grade). Attractive copy but for about an inch rip at top spine that should be tightened with some glue. Pages are a little dark on edges, so I'm calling it "VERYGOOD MINUS". If you read the book you might knock a few pieces off, I see it has one small chip off first page already. ...I've seen worse, so I'm not sure I need to use the term "brittle" (edges), but by the same token I wouldn't be dog-earing any pages either....
