Created by combining unbreakable nylon wall plates with a semi gloss photographic label (similar to a sticker but with photograph quality). Stickers are included on the Decora style plates to place on your light switches. These are standard sized covers. Some houses have over sized which people assume are standard - they are not. Measure your covers before ordering. These plates are the following sizes: Standard sizes: Singles: 2.75 x 4.5 Doubles: 4.5 x 4.5 Triples: 6.5 x 4.5 Why are these plates superior to decoupage light switch covers? Virtually unbreakable One problem with decoupage is plastic covers needed to be used (glue sticks don't stick to nylon) and often they break in the mail or when the screws are over tightened. No odour Varnish is nice - however, it stinks. Imagine opening your items and having to store them outside for a week waiting for the fumes to dissipate. Photographic images Most decoupage images are printed on copy paper. If you use too much ink the paper becomes over saturated and bleeds so you can't print at full quality. Non-toxic Varnish requires a face mask to apply and comes with a MSDS sheet (listing the hazards). No harmful varnishes, shellacs or odorous sprays are used in the creation of these items. As no chemicals are used in the creation of these plates you may want to consider applying a UV or water repellent coating if required.
