Description: This hard-to-find pattern, with its unique split off sections of diagonal swirling hobnails, created a eye-catching tablescape in the late 1800s. A "Winona" spoon holder would have been used with other pieces such as a creamer and sugar. Made by Brilliant Glass Co. (Greensburg Glass), such spooners were also sold to silver/silver plate companies for use as inserts in fancy holloware. Standing 4 1/2" in height with a top diameter of 3 1/2", it will work well as vase, a holder for flame-less candles, or as part of your antique glass collection. There are outer rough seam areas where removed from mould. As with EAPG, Depression Era, and other vintage glass, there may be slight 'character' marks, shear marks, bubbles, ripples and mold marks on bottoms or sides from the original mold and/or production process. Shipping: I strive to preserve historic pieces AND our natural world via careful packaging using recycled and repurposed materials.
