Description: This is a very rare phonograph. It is an Edison Amberola model B VIII. I've been told that this late model Amberola has the later Fireside B motor in it. I've owned this phonograph for over 30 years and it has always played very well. It has a Diamond B reproducer. The case, bed plate and mechanism are all in very good condition. Most of the pin striping is still there. The internal horn has most of it's wood grain finish intact. I believe it is all in original condition, at least that is what I was told when I bought it.This would make a great addition to any phonograph collection or even as the only vintage phonograph, since it is an excellent piece of furniture as well. Here is a video of a record playing on it. https://youtube.com/watch?v=eHhavATAZWw&feature=share Although it is listed as 'local pickup', I will ship it anywhere with the cost being determined by the buyers location and the method used for transport.
