Description: Here is a super fun Blue Amberol cylinder, #1944. The Premier Quartet performs Steve Porter's "Down on the Mississippi". This is a reissue of four minute Amberol #626 from March 1911, Edison released the cylinder in October 1913. Crowd noises as a ship lets off passengers, talking that includes the N word, and some singing, very enjoyable. The cylinder plays well with moderate surface noise. I will include a period correct (if somewhat battered) cylinder box for you. A hard to find cylinder, go for it! Shipping to USA addresses only. $5.25 ground advantage mail postage and fees, I will ship cylinder in a new box. Please pay within 24 hours of purchase and I will leave you positive feedback when I ship the cylinder, your positive feedback appreciated! See my store for more cylinder records, and thanks for looking!!
