This will not sit as tight on the cord as the original bead did, so as to not pinch it, so it's best installed on the flexible connection part of the cord nearest the console system to not slip off. It won't cut the cord and will loosely grip the flexible section. Very effective and won't damage the orignal, valuable power supply. Price is for one (1) ferrite core bead.
