A very high quality piece, made of solid bronze, with hand-incised elements. It is in a fruit-form lobed shape with a lid that has a stem, similat to an apple. It has three legs, with leaves and a bud adding to its organic design. This is a high-quality, crafted studio piece, not something that was merely cast and imported. It has been used for many years, and the patina shows such appropriate wear. Also, there is a tiny ding, as shown in the last photo. It is insignificant.
