Description: Up for offer is a very good modernist/abstract painting of two Southwest kachinas. Watercolor/gouache on paper. Interestingly, it has an almost impasto feel to it. Signed in the lower right. Illegibly, however. At least I can't make it out. Any thoughts? Undated. I obtained this at a Santa Fe, New Mexico estate sale several years ago now. One of a few pieces I purchased. The house had a wide variety of striking modernist art. Condition is quite good. No losses. No tears or punctures. The colors remain strong and bright. Brighter than the photos show. Size is about 8 by 14 inches. With the mat it's approximately 11 by 16. Please ask any questions you may have; I'd be happy to answer. Shipping is a flat $17.50 via USPS Ground Advantage with a signature request attached to help prevent mis-delivery and package theft. Carefully wrapped and packaged. I value the things I sell. Finally, if you have a moment you may want to take a look at my other interesting to rare items currently up for sale. Thank you.
