Description: Flatwoods Plum Prunus umbellata 15 Seeds We noticed a beautiful blooming tree deep in the woods on our main farm. As much as we tried to line it up, the tree was just past the property line. We admired the blooms in early February and wondered what it could be. Well, we were lucky enough to purchase the neighboring 10 acres 2 years ago. The beautiful blooming tree was now ours!! We were so excited to clear out around it. Little did we know, there were 2 more larger ones about 100 more ft into the property. We did a little research and found it's the Flatwoods Plum. A close relative to the Chickasaw Plum, but this grows more like a tree. Once we knew what to look for, we noticed a few more trees growing on our mini-farms! This is the first year we were able to harvest enough seeds to offer them for sale. We hope you all enjoy the beautiful blooms and tiny juicy fruit like we do!
