It was created by the illustrator Mel Odom. Each doll features an intricate movie-styled theme based upon fashions from the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s as well as Hollywood's version of historical costuming. She has a hard plastic body with porcelain like finish, vinyl head, painted eyes, rooted hair and applied eyelashes. She is jointed at the Neck, Shoulders and Hips. Gene's Purple gown is a tribute to the resplendent fashions of Louis XVI's glittering court. Her royal purple satin gown is embroidered with roses and exquisite beadwork. Elbow length gloves, stole, sparkling jewelry, and a silver snood complete the romantic ensemble. Beautiful doll excellent used condition no discernible defects. No stand.
