The quarter is surrounded by symbols of the state including sailing ships which represent Mystic Seaport, the state flower (Mountain Laurel), a judge’s bench representing the first law school, a flag symbolic Connecticut as one of the original 13 colonies, a tower from Yale University, leaves from the state tree (White Oak), and the state bird (American Robin). Symbols are repeated on the back of the ornament with the face of the quarter showing. Includes a silver satin ribbon for hanging the ornament. Also includes a Certificate of Authenticity and a brochure with information about the ornament.
