Description: This unusual Hammersley Blue Dragon bone china cup and saucer (E570) is not for the dainty tea or coffee drinker: The set is jumbo-sized, with a cup that has a 4.25-inch diameter and a high-rimmed saucer that measures 7.5 inches in diameter. (It looks more like a plate!) With a bright white base, blue-gray dragons encircle both pieces, which are outlined with a shiny gold. This rare set is in very good condition: There are no cracks and no crazing. There is one tiny chip the size of a pen point on the outside rim of the cup that can be felt more than seen (see 4th to last photo). Other imperfections include loss of gold on both pieces (see last 3 photos) and some scratches on the saucer's inner golden rim. Both the cup and saucer have retained their gloss and shine.
