Harvard Classics Alumni Edition AND 18 Alumni Shelf of Fiction: 69 Volumes total

Description: This is a matched set of Green Buckram cloth bound first edition, the Alumni De Luxe edition of both the Classics and Shelf of Fiction. All 51 volumes are included in the Classics (Lectures is unnumbered 51). Only 18 of the 20 volume Shelf of Fiction is included, missing are two volumes that comprise Tolstoy's Anna Karenina. The Classics set is in very good condition, single owner. Some fading and subsequent discoloration on the spines as was commonplace for this color buckram but all the hinges are solid, no book plates or stamps. Most appear to have never been read or opened. Set is numberd, #5528 of 10,000. The Shelf of Fiction set is in fair condition, very well read. Many hinges repaired as shown in the photos. It too is a numbered set, #4218 of 10,000.
