Description: This platter is in very good condition given its age (manufactured in the 1940's). The motif is in great shape, as you can see in the pictures. There are no chips or cracks. There are some utensil marks seen mostly at an angle and under a light. There is some loss of the gold, but the vast majority is intact as you can see in the pictures. On the back there is what looks like a dent which I think is called pitting. You can see this in the last picture on the top. Besides the Homer Laughlin back stamp there is also another stamp of "Cunningham & Pickett Inc." It measures about 11 5/8" by about 9 1/4". It is made in the USA . I am also listing rim soup bowls and a creamer belonging to this pattern. I can combine shipping. Please do not pay if you buy more than this platter till I send you the invoice with the lowered S & H (first add your items to your “shopping cart” and then request a new invoice) Insurance is included. We reserve the option to substitute Fed Ex (faster) for USPS Parcel Select. Please email me with any questions you may have.
