The entire unit can operate below 120ft. and weighs 22lbs. on dry land. The fore/aft balance is adjustable as well. This is readily adaptable to other cameras, given the various manipulators that can be removed and relocated. You can also pickup an old VX2000 in eBay for a few hundred bucks and record like a pro. I am the original owner, I used it a handful of time and always cleaned it throughly in fresh water. It looks almost new.
