Description: This is an Italian made, Magis Roma Brand, regional doll from the town of Oliena on the Island of Sardinia. a large island west of mainland Italy She stands 10 1/2" tall , about 6" at the base of her skirt and 4 1/2" deep. Her head and torso are made of plastic, but her face has a cloth-like texture to it. She wears a black apron over a long, textured, copper colored skirt that is trimmed with a floral lower half. Her white cotton blouse is covered by a red felt vest with an opened, half-sleeved feature(see pictures). Finally, she wears a large, black shawl on her head, trimmed on the back with the same cloth floral pattern that is on the bottom of the skirt and very long fringe. Her hair is black. She is labelled with a Magis Roma tag. This Magis Roma brand of dolls are cute and fun, but show accurately the costumes of Italy.
