Description: In 1992 John D Shaw, with a career in commercial art, decided to take a ‘more personal and serious direction,’ highlighting America’s veterans with a focus on WWII and aviation art. These two signed pieces—Robert J Rankin of Zemke’s Wolfpack, and Gunther Rall, the famous Luftwaffe fighter pilot, have been wrapped in plastic and are immaculate. Shaw’s signature is in pencil and is clear. Both are 11x15”; the Rall print is vertical; the Rankin print is horizontal. Both on foamcore to stabilize the print.
