Description: This is a vintage mid-century Lady Buxton jewelry box. It has two drawers, and has two tiered storage levels above the drawers. The drawers have stoppers and will not fall out. The jewelry box measures 16.5" across, is 7" tall, and is 8" deep. The lining is blue and appears to be velvet, but I'm not sure what material it is. As pictured, the lining is discolored and stained in some places. The outside of the box shows wear, with nicks, stains, discolored spots, two puncture wounds in the lid, and the remnants of an old sticker. The top drawer opens and shuts more easily than the second. The second sometimes sticks a little, and needs to be eased shut. It appears that a small, loose piece of jewelry like an earring fell into the back once and sometimes interferes with the drawer. I can hear it moving when I shift the box around, but can't access it because each level is tightly sealed.
