Description: Lego vintage set number 6590, Vacation Camper, was produced in 1988 and contains 106 pieces (as per Peeron.com web site), which is inclusive of 2 mini figures, 1 mini figure cap, 2 cups and 1 suitcase. The set was purchased new by the seller, is 100% complete and in excellent used condition, which means that there is very minimal light wear on the set’s pieces. Includes the original Lego building instruction booklet for the set, which has no marks but does have a long tear along one of its fold lines, a small tear above one fold line and an approximately 1” long scratch mark on its cover page. The set provides for the construction of a vehicle with towing ball receptacle and a wheel mounted camper with towing ball. The vehicle has an adjustable roof mounted spoiler, a sunroof that can be opened and set at any angle desired by the builder, doors that open and close and a hinged roof that can easily be raised for access to the car’s interior. The camper has a partially hinged roof that allows the roof and attached window/wall pieces to be easily raised for access to the camper’s interior. The camper has retractable front stabilizing wheels that can be lowered for added stability when the camper is parked. The set was built and then disassembled by the seller to ensure completeness. The set is shipped disassembled.
