Description: Levi's Round-Up Of Hunting Rifle Lore, A Vintage Early 1950s Levi-Strauss Advertising Flyer. This was a giveaway item for bluejeans retailers. Measures 3-1/8 x 6 inches, fully folded, and 9-3/8 x 11-1/2 inches when entirely unfolded. Illustrated in color. Information compiled by Col. Townsend Whelen details the development of the American hunting rifle and its varying accuracy. Famous riflemen are discussed: Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett, and S.D. Myres. A vintage orgininal advertising promotional piece. In fine used condition. There is slight wear on the upper leftt fold seen near the word "Levi's" on the publication heading. This is wear to the fold only. There is NOT a tear in the paper on the fold line. (See detail photo.) There is also a very small stain or spot from paper ageing on the back near the top left corner. (See detail photo.) There is very mild edge and corner wear and other instances of paper ageing. Owned by one retail family all these years; stored in non-smoking environment.
